Step 1
Check you loan agreement or credit card statement to see if you have payment protection insurance in place. Different lenders have different titles for this insurance, such as loan protection insurance, card protection insurance, platinum insurance etc. If you see insurance mentioned anywhere, regradless of its name, it is likely to be payment protection insurance. If you have the insurance either call Total Reclaim on 0800 915 2998 or complete the online enquiry form.
Step 2
We will contact you and explain the basic paperwork that needs to be signed by you. We will send the paperwork to you and allow you a 14 day cooling off period. Once we receive the signed paperwork and details of your loan or credit card and initial letter of complaint will be sent to your lender.
Step 3
We will respond to any communications from your lender from this point onwards on your behalf until the claim reaches a final, normally successful, decision with the lender. Any refunds of premiums plus interest will be forwarded to you by the lender and you will pay our fee as and when you receive your payment.
